The light at dusk interrupts the sleep of one of the most fascinating birds in this collection: the Potoo, the nocturnal and elusive animal that inspired this unique pendant. A somewhat mythical figure partly due to its song, which is similar to a human lament, or its hypnotic eyes and huge beak that few prey manage to escape. When there’s a full moon, it can be seen to camouflage itself between the branches of a tree with its head raised looking up at the moon; perhaps watching the fleeting contrast of shadows of its prey or contemplating the great beyond.
